(RE)PRESENT 13:
A Feminist Dialogue Across Generations

SOHO20 Gallery
547 West 27th Street, Suite 301
New York, NY 10001

Friday, January 11th, 2013, 6-8pm

Signature and Style

Does your work have a unique style or look? What distinguishes it? Is it easily identifiable? Should it be? Do you want it to be easy to identify? Or do you prefer to remain anonymous? What about branding your work; is it useful, cumbersome, distasteful or does it work for you? As the role of the artist in society continually shifts, i.e. (no signature) in Medieval Art and (signature) in Modern Art, how do you manifest your role and signature as an artist today?

(RE)Present 2013: What do we want from Feminism and how can we achieve it? Continuing in the tradition of the New York Feminist Art Institute, NYFAI (1979-1990), https://nyfai.org .
An event of The Feminist Art Project.
